We love shooting in all gorgeous settings but don't mind a junk yard or some grunge. We have so many spots in Southern Louisiana to shoot to give it that southern vibe. I have provided a list of some of our most popular locations.

Fountainbleau State Park - Large Oaks with lots of moss as well as a beach to get those gorgeous intimate sunset shots.

Downtown Covington - Old Building with great foliage for a little bit of both. This seems to be my favorite local spot. Not many people which gives it that sweet quiet vibe with you and your fiancé.

Old Town Slidell - This location gets past up alot but with the right photographer we can make anything gorgeous. This seems to be my new second favorite spot.

Downtown New Orleans - What can I say this is the ultimate best spot. If you live in Southern Louisiana having a downtown Nola session is PERFECT! Street cars, historic buildings, great city lights, the Mississippi River.. Who doesn't love the Big Easy?!

City Park, New Orleans - Romantic & Southern. The gorgeous oaks as well as the beautiful scenery followed with some great grassy fields & sometimes a flower field if you are lucky!

Sunset & Travel

Sunset is the times we shoot engagement sessions... Its honestly the only time we shoot really anything except newborn sessions. This is prime time to shoot. If it is a perfect sunny day we will get that golden time right in the evening. I will create a list of times for each season to get a good idea.

Travel: Traveling is great but keep mind we have a travel limit. So some locations we will more than likely have a traveling fee. Its not much so if you are set on a location shoot it at us and we can definitely chat on what is best.

Mid March - Mid May

Louisiana has some unpredictable weather. Some years we can expect some warm weather early in March. So I'm going to include it in our Spring months. Mid March we experience Spring Forward so our times push forward a good bit as far as sunlight goes. I like to start sessions between the hours of 5:30 p.m. - 7:15 p.m.

Mid May - September

Our summer months seem to be the longest months. I don't always suggest shooting in these months because guys seem to sweat easily but since I schedule these sessions closer to the evenings it is not that bad. A good summer day can have some very pretty colors with the perfect golden sunset sun. I like to suggest these sessions to shoot 6 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.

October - November

Fall & Spring always catches my eye but with our location being in the southern states I'm going with Fall to be my favorite. This month is gorgeous and highly recommended. The only catch is our availability for a weekend date is not likely. So our fall sessions are normally done during the week. Depending on the Month October I suggest 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. & November 3:30 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.

December - Mid March

Louisiana has some wet winter months... Normally at the end of January to end of February. I always know those months are my least favorite months. So if we are scheduled for a session in these months I suggest shooting in a downtown area or even in grass field. Not much greenery foliage is out so picking somewhere with buildings always seems to be the best when it comes to winter. Suggested times are 3:00 p.m. - 4:45 p.m.
